The Virginia Maritime Association (VMA) was organized in 1920 to promote, protect and encourage international and domestic commerce through the Port of Virginia. The VMA seeks and advocates the continued growth of the Port and related commercial activity and plays a significant leadership role to ensure that Virginia remains competitive as it relates to waterborne commerce.

Drive Safe Hampton Roads
Drive Safe Hampton Roads (DSHR) is a non-profit regional coalition whose goal is to increase the community's involvement and awareness of traffic safety issues. This organization is made up of individuals from law enforcement, corporate safety, the military, state agencies, safety advocates, fire safety personnel, city and county municipalities, commercial transportation carriers, and individuals with an interest in preventing crashes, injuries, and fatalities on our roadways.
